From 23 to 25 January, Olympic Centre Stayki hosted the Republican Winter Work Olympics for employees of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
The official opening ceremony began with welcoming remarks from Minister Sergey Maslyak, who emphasized the importance of sport in building team spirit and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Competitions were held in swimming, a biathlon relay, streetball, darts, and table tennis. A separate highlight of the program was the two-discipline challenge for managers, in which the Centre’s Director, Tatyana Dubik, took part.
The Centre’s team, Ecosport, was passionately supported by its fans—especially during the swimming and biathlon events. The cheering was so strong that the team became one of the most visible and spirited throughout the competition.
In the final standings, Ecosport placed 9th overall, proudly representing the state educational institution “Republican Centre for State Ecological Expertise, Training, Professional Development and Retraining” of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.
Top teams of the Work Olympics:
- 1st place — Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection team
