How can small actions bring great benefits?

Caring for the environment doesn’t just start with big decisions. Sometimes it’s much simpler: turn off the lights, take a reusable bag with you, or properly separate the waste. It is from such small actions that our daily attitude towards nature is formed.

Today, we gathered in the Parish of St. Nicholas of Japan Church together with children from school No. 165, College of Business and Law, and volunteers of the green Sunday School, and talked about such simple steps that are gradually becoming habits. One of them is the sorting of plastic caps.

Together we figured out why they shouldn’t be thrown away with the bottles, where they go after collection, and why even the smallest of our actions matter.

And at the end of the meeting, they filled the container donated to the green Sunday School with plastic caps. Now the children have not only knowledge, but also a place where they can bring caps that will later go into a new life.
