Today, the Centre hosted a Unified Information Day on the topic “Memory for the Sake of the Future”, dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People.
The staff were addressed by Irina Sinkevich, Press Secretary of the public association “Patriots of Belarus” and Chairperson of its Minsk Regional Organisation. During the meeting, participants discussed the tragic events of June 1941. Irina Sinkevich spoke about the activities of the Republican Public Association “Patriots of Belarus” in preserving historical memory, as well as about the projects and initiatives being implemented to promote civic and patriotic education, commemorate the defenders of the Fatherland, and strengthen the connection between generations.
Preserving the memory of our country’s heroic past is an important foundation for educating young people and fostering a respectful attitude towards the history of Belarus.
