Safety Begins with Simple Steps

The Centre hosted a meeting with a representative of the Minsk City Department for Emergency Situations — Nikolai Kazak, Deputy Head of the Partizansky District Department for Emergency Situations. The session was dedicated to everyday safety and emergency prevention. The Centre’s Director, Tatyana Dubik, warmly welcomed the guest and thanked him for his participation.

The discussion covered the most common causes of residential fires, the dangers of careless handling of open flames, and essential rules for safe stove heating. Particular attention was also paid to ice safety, helping ensure that winter walks don’t turn into tragedy.

Through open dialogue, real-life examples, and practical guidance, participants were reminded that most emergencies can be avoided by following basic safety rules. Take care of yourself and those close to you — safety is in our hands!
